Pepperoni Pizza Casserole

This yummy quick and easy pasta casserole is s simple to put together and the entire family will love!!!


12 ounces pasta ( can be any small pasta like small rigatoni, ziti, or which ever you desire)
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound sausage ( casings removed)
3 cups marinara sauce ( your homemade or jar)
8-10 ounces of pepperoni
8 ounces ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese plus 1 cup for topping
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Optional 1/4 teaspoon oregano, 1/4 teaspoon basil, 1/4 teaspoon parsley


1. Cook pasta according to directions on package, taking out 3 minutes earlier, you want pasta al dente, because it gets cooked in oven again.
2. In a large saute pan add the ground beef and sausage and cook until no longer pink. drain grease and put back in saute pan. Add the 3 cups of sauce to the meat mixture.
3. In a large bowl add the ricotta cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, and spices ( if desired) and mix until all combined
4. Using  a 13x9 baking dish, pour some sauce covering the bottom of the pan, place half the pasta, half the meat mixture, half the cheese mixture, then repeat with sauce again, pasta, meat, cheese, ending with sauce, then sprinkle the 1 cup of mozzarella on top it off with the pepperoni.
