Homemade Copycat Snickers Bars



These creamy, dreamy filled center filled with peanuts than covered with milk chocolate. Pure Heaven!!!!


Ingredients:
Follow Picture Steps Below:
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup condensed evaporated milk ( this is canned milk, not sweetened)
1 cup granulated sugar
24 ounces milk chocolate plus 2 Tablespoons shortening for melting
1 cup sugar
7 oz Marshmallow Cream ( Marshmallow Fluff)

14 oz caramels (unwrapped)
1/3 cup peanut butter
14 oz of whole peanuts
1 tablespoon of water (for use in nougat)
4 tablespoons Water (for use in Caramel)

Directions:

1.Line a 9 x 13 dish with foil, "grease" with butter.
2.Melt 1/2 cup of Chocolate over a double boiler, once melted pour onto the buttered foil, spreading evenly with the back of a spoon. Place in fridge to set.
3. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan combine sugar, 1 Tablespoon water, and butter, stirring until combined. Add condensed milk, stirring constantly over med heat until mixture comes to a rolling boil, cook, stirring constantly for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and immediately add marshmallow creme ( fluff) and peanut butter.
4.Pour the mixture over the chocolate & stick it in the fridge to solidify quickly
5.Heat the caramel in the microwave or a double boiler with about 4 tablespoons of water, watching every 30 seconds until fully melted.
6.Then add peanuts and mix.
7.Pour mixture over marshmallow layer and spread well.
8.Cool a few minutes to let them set, then cut into bars.
9.Melt the 24 oz of Chocolate and 2 Tablespoons of shortening, watching and mixing every 40 seconds, mixing well, then dip the entire bars into the chocolate. Using a fork, or tongs. Then place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. You can place in the refrigerator for the first 10-15 minutes t speed up the process. Then take out, let set completely and enjoy!!!!
