Grilled Salmon With Avocado Salsa

Perfectly seasoned grilled salmon with an amazing avocado salsa. A delicious and healthy meal that your family will love!!! Salmon has a ton of great health benefits, I like to make fish once a week, best thing for you!!!


2 pounds salmon, cut into 4 pieces
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper

For The Avocado Salsa:

1 avocado, ripe, sliced and diced into chunks
1/2 small red onion, diced thin
Juice from 2 limes
1-2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped ( depending on how much you like)
salt and pepper to taste


1. In a bowl mix the salt, chili powder, cumin, paprika, onion powder, pepper, whisk together until combined. Rub the salmon with olive oil then, rub with the spice mixture and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2. Preheat grill or grill pan, rub a little oil on the grates to prevent frm sticking and place the salmon n the grill, cook for about 6-7 minutes per side. Until salmon is flaky and an opaque pink
3. In a bowl combine the avocado, red onion, lime juice, cilantro, salt and pepper to taste. If you would like make salsa first, while cooking salmon.
4. After the salmon is done cooking, place the avocado salsa on the salmon and enjoy!!!!
