Double Crunch Honey Garlic Pork Chops

This recipe has the perfect blend of spices and double crusted pork then the dipping sauce is amazing. When I came across this recipe on the internet there was thousands of great reviews, so I had to make this. Now I know why, it is by far the best pork chops I have ever eaten in my life. You will love this recipe. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients:

6 center loin pork chops
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
1 1/2 Tablespoons ground ginger
1 Tablespoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 Tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 eggs
4 Tablespoons water

Honey Garlic Dipping Sauce:

2 tablespoons olive oil
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions For The Dipping Sauce:

1. In a saucepan on low add the olive oil, then add the garlic just until fragrant ( do not let burn), then add the honey, soy sauce, and pepper then simmer for 5 minutes. If it gets to thick add 1/4-1/2 cup warm water. Set aside.

Directions For The Pork Chops:

1. Season the pork with a little salt and pepper. In a bowl combine the egg and water, whisk and set aside. Then in a shallow dish make your flour mixture by combining the flour, salt, pepper, ginger, nutmeg, thyme, sage, paprika, and cayenne pepper and whisk together. Set up a dipping station, by dipping the pork chops in the flour mixture then egg wash, then back into the flour mixture.

2. Heat in a large saucepan on medium high heat 1/2 inch canola or vegetable oil covering the bottom and fry the pork chops about 4-5 minutes on each side, only flipping once. It will be a beautiful brown crispy color.

3. Drain on a wire rack for 2 minutes then quickly dip the pork chops on both sides in the warm sauce   Do not pour sauce over the chicken, just dip both sides. Enjoy!!!
