This sweet and savory chicken dish is so good and the sauce is delicious. Perfect with rice on the side. Easy meal to make for a weeknight.
2 teaspoons cornstarch 2 teaspoons water 1/4 cup white sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup orange juice or 1/4 cup pineapple juice 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Combine the first 10 ingredients in a bowl.
Place chicken pieces in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken and turn to thoroughly coat.
Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes. Turn pieces over, and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until no longer pink and juices run clear.
