These frozen chocolate banana pops are a delicious and healthy snack for the kids and adults. The combination of chocolate and banana go perfect together.
Ingredients: Makes 16 pops
3 firm, ripe bananas, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Toppings, coconut, sprinkles, nuts or any desired toppings
1. Cut bananas into 2 inch pieces, place a toothpick into each banana piece
2. Arrange banana pieces, toothpick side up onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and place in freezer for 2 hours until firm.
3. In a microwave proof bowl place chocolate chips in, and microwave for 20 second intervals, until chocolate is melted and smooth. Working quickly, dip the banana into the chocolate, taking excess chocolate off by tapping the sides of the bowl, then dip the banana into desired toppings. The chocolate pops should set quickly, but if needed place in the freezer for several minutes until chocolate hardens up. Store in the refrigerator for 1 day. Enjoy!!!
