Stuffed Cheddar Bacon Loaf

This delicious stuffed bread is an easy and perfect appetizer or snack if you are having a get together.  The bread gets nice a crispy and brown, the cheese and bacon come together and get cheesy, melted and so good. You will enjoy this recipe..

  • 1 French Baguette
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup softened Butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped Cooked Bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions 
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced finely 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with foil and set aside.
  2. Slice the bread into 1" slices thick down, but DO NOT cut all the way through the bottom.
  3. In a small bowl combine all other ingredients. "Stuff" the cheese mixture between the slices of bread.
  4. Wrap loaf in foil and bake 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted. Cut and serve..
