Nutella Peanut Butter Banana Bread

This is a moist, delicious and packed with yummy flavors,  creamy peanut butter, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Semi-sweet chocolate chips, ripe bananas, and Nutella. What a perfect combination. I loved the smell of the house while it was baking, everyone could not wait until they could grab a piece. Then before you know it, this morning all the kids grabbed pieces and just 2 left. And they are for me. The best part of this recipe is no mixer required, it is all whisked by hand. Do not over mix this bread or it will get tough..You have to make this recipe it is so good. I know you will love this recipe as much as I did!!!Enjoy..

Ingredients:

  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup  creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup ( about 11) chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1/2 cup  semi-sweet chocolate chips ( or if not using Peanut Butter Cups use 1 cup chocolate chips)
  • 3 Tablespoons Nutella

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Spray loaf pan with nonstick spray ( I used a glass pan) then set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

3. In a seperate large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, peanut butter, oil, egg and granulated and brown sugar, and set aside.
4. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix. Fold in chopped Reese’s cups and chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan. Drop 3 tablespoons of Nutella on top of bread in a row. Swirl with a knife in a swirly pattern.
5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. I had to place a piece of foil over the top for the last 15 minutes, because it was getting a little to brown, that is okay to do, you do not have to, everyone's oven is different) Let cool in loaf pan for 30 minutes, then with a knife loosen the bread from the edges of the pan and remove. Then transfer bread to a cooling rack until completely cooled. Cool for several hours before cutting. Enjoy!!

This is how you drop your Nutella into the batter.

And then with a knife swirl the Nutella.
