Snickers Cheesecake Bars

This is a full of flavor cheesecake bar. Moist Oreo crust, cheesecake layer with the nutty, caramel, chocolate flavors of the snickers bars. So good. These are cheesecake bars so yes, you do have to wait just a little while and let them cool. But the results are worth it. You can also use your favorite candy bar, but after I tried these, it has the best flavor ever..Enjoy!!!

Ingredients:

Crust
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 20 Oreo Cookies

Cheesecake Layer
  • 16 ounces (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup white granulated sugar
  • teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 14 fun-sized Snickers, chopped tiny pieces

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil, light grease. Set aside.
  2. Crust – Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor into fine crumbs. Add into a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the mixing bowl with the crushed Oreos. Mix together.
  4. Pour the crust into the baking dish, using a large spatula spread out the crust. Make sure it is even all around.
  5. Filling – In a large mixing bowl, cream the cream cheese and egg and mix for 3-5 minutes until it is creamy.
  6. Add in the white granulated sugar and vanilla extract.
  7. Fold in the chopped Snickers.
  8. Spoon the cheesecake mixture on top of the crust.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheesecake has set-up and the edges are lightly browned.
  10. Allow for the bars to cool for 30 minutes at room temperature and then chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Overnight is best.
  1. Lift the foil of out the pan and cut into squares.
  2. Store bars in a covered container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator – if they last that long!
