Potatoes Au Gratin

This is by far the best Potatoes Au Gratin you will ever make. This goes perfect with steak, chicken, pork as a side dish. The recipe is creamy, cheesy and delicious. I am sure after you make this once, it will be on your dinner table once a week. This is a recipe from the Pioneer Woman, so you know it is going to be good..

2 Tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

4. In a large separate bowl whisk together the heavy cream, milk, flour, garlic, salt and pepper
5. Place 1/3 of the potatoes on the bottom of the baking dish, pour 1/3 of the cream mixture over the potatoes, then repeat 2 more times ending with the cream mixture.
