A refreshing and delicious combination of crisp white wine, peaches and cantaloupe frozen and then blended into a delicious frozen sangria, anyone would love this drink, this time of year when the sweet peaches and melons are coming out, have a seat on your deck, porch, or patio and enjoy!!!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Sauvignon Blanc White Wine
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1-2 Tablespoons sugar, (depending on how sweet your fruits are)
- 1 large peach, cut into small chunks
- 1/4 large cantaloupe, cut into small chunks
- In a freezer safe container with a lid, whisk together the wine, apple juice and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved and then add the chunks of peaches and cantaloupe.
- Cover and freeze for 24 hours. Because of the alcohol content it will not freeze completely solid
- When you're ready to serve, just break the frozen sangria up into chunks with a spoon and add it to a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve in glass with peach, mint, or cantaloupe slices.
