Brownie Butter Cake

This Brownie Butter cake is deliciously irresistible. It has a thick layer of smooth chocolaty brownie bottom, then topped with a melt in your mouth buttery cake. Just imagine the two combined simply delicious. This is perfect for all you brownie lovers, but the best part of this cake is the butter cake part, made in a loaf pan so simple, and you just can't have one slice. So glad I came across this delicious and amazing recipe. It is heavenly and just a wonderful recipe I found and after making it, you just want to make this recipe over and over again. Perfect for breakfast, snack, dessert, bring to parties. It will be a huge hit so make two..Enjoy!!

Ingredients:
Brownie:
5 ounces dark chocolate (broken into pieces)
 1/4 cup butter
 1/4 cup brown sugar
 1 Egg
 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Butter cake:
 1/2 cup  butter
1/2 cup sugar (I reduced by 1 Tbsp)
 2 Eggs
 1 cup all-purpose flour ( sifted)
 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
 3 1/2 Tablespoons milk

Directions:
Grease and line a loaf pan with aluminium foil.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
To make brownie, in a saucepan melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Remove and leave to cool slightly so eggs dont scramble. Stir and whisk in brown sugar until blended completely.
In the same bowl Add in egg, then whisk until combined. Slowly fold in flour, stir until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove.
To make butter cake, in a large mixing bowl beat butter with sugar until creamy about 3 minutes, then add in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until combined.
Fold in sifted flour and baking powder, alternately add in milk, mix until combined.
Spread the butter cake batter over brownie, bake in oven at 320 degrees for 22-30 minutes or until cooked. Insert a toothpick until comes out clean.
