Pecan Saltine Toffee







These yummy toffee pecan saltine delights, melt in your mouth toffee taste, with the crunch of the pecans and the milk chocolate on top are actually addicting to eat. These you cant just eat one. I very rarely find a recipe with 3-4 ingredients that taste like you have spent hours baking, if you are wanting to find something easy to snack on, bring as gifts for the holidays, share some with family and friends, these are perfect, who ever I get these for want the recipe immediately, you will love these, when I found the recipe if was love at first bite..








Ingredients:
  • Box of saltine crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips

  • Directions: 
  1. Line a 15x10x1 inch large cookie sheet with saltine crackers. Then set aside. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Then In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add in sugar and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly 
  2. Pour over saltine crackers and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Place in a 375°F oven for about 13-15 minutes, until crackers are browned and caramelized.
  3. Remove from oven and using a small spatula, place each piece of saltine onto a sheet of parchment paper on the counter.
  4. Melt chocolate morsels in microwave and spread generously over toffee with a spoon. Allow chocolate to set and store in airtight container for up to 5 days
