These delicious chocolate cake mix waffles are so good, taste of pure chocolate goodness in a waffle, then drizzled with a Nutella Chocolate Sauce. Cant it get any better or easier, only 4 ingredients. So easy to make in the morning, weekends, brunch, these are defiantly a crowd pleaser and everyone will love these waffles. I saw these waffles the other day, made them right away. Wondering how cake mix to make a waffle, interesting but wow and amazing..It was so easy and my new favorite..Talk about making this for a Valentine's Day breakfast for your loved ones, I will be making these waffles a lot my family went crazy for them, kids and adults will love them..Enjoy!!!
Ingredients
- 1 (16.5 oz) package Devil's Food Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
Directions
- 1.Preheat a waffle iron to medium heat,
- 2.Prepare batter according to directions on package, in a large bowl
- 3.Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and pour amount listed from waffle iron manufactures instructions into waffle iron and cook according to time listed on instructions. Serve warm with desired toppings. Or if you have a waffle iron that beeps when is ready to be turned, that is when you turn your waffle.
- 4.For optional Nutella Sauce:
- Whisk together 3/4 cup Nutella with 4 Tbsp milk (or more to thin as desired) until smooth. Warm in microwave if desired. Drizzle over waffles, or top with sweetened whipped cream and strawberries.
